The world's first lamb and game rub

Lamb and game share an iron-rich, distinctly fatty character that beef, pork and chicken simply don't. Bulldozer reckon they built the world's first rub made specifically for it — and, in their words, still the best. This isn't your typical Sunday roast, and it's not another paprika-heavy all-rounder pretending to suit everything.

The flavour

Rich and woodsy, built to work with the grill and the smoker rather than mask the meat. The base is pasilla — a dark, mild-heat capsicum — layered with native salts, a touch of brown sugar and thyme. Then comes juniper, a sharp, piney note drawn from the maker's German-American heritage that cuts clean through the iron, plus Australian bush herbs from the same country these animals graze. Nothing sweet-and-sticky here: this is deep, earthy and savoury.

How to cook with it

  • Rub into lamb shoulder, backstrap or cutlets before grilling or smoking
  • Season venison and kangaroo to tame the iron and lift the flavour
  • Give beef a rich, woodsy twist when you want something off the beaten track
  • Dial the heat with the included Chilli Sidekick packet

In the shaker

A dark, earthy blend carried by pasilla capsicum and native salt, fragrant with juniper, thyme and bush herbs. Only a slight warmth on its own — and a separate Chilli Sidekick chilli packet tucks inside so you can set the heat exactly where you want it.

Returns Policy

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MIND

We offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.

The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.

Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.


DUE TO DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEM

In the unlikely event you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. We will cover all return shipping costs.
