The flavour lineup

Four completely different directions, so there's always a right shaker for the plate. Rub One Out is clean and savoury — salt, garlic, onion and a whisper of mustard, finishing on a moreish umami note. Pork Hunt runs sweet and smoky, coconut sugar and paprika building a caramelised, sticky crust with a gentle chilli tingle. Deep Bush is the wild card — native horopito pepper brings a slow, earthy heat that's genuinely unique to Aotearoa. Aquadesiac is bright and coastal, lime and nori giving it a zesty, briny lift. In the shakers

Each rub keeps its own character in the jar: Rub One Out is pale and fine, Pork Hunt a darker reddish-brown with visible spice speckle, Deep Bush earthy and herb-flecked, Aquadesiac pale with flecks of nori and lime.
