A classic sambal goreng — chilli, shallot and shrimp-friendly spice fried down into a deep, pungent, properly hot paste. The base for real Malay and Indonesian cooking.
Perfect on: stir-fried vegetables, fried rice, noodles, or as a base for sambal-fried prawns or chicken.
In the jar: deep brick-red, thick and glossy with visible chilli. Heat: hot — real chilli fire, the way sambal should be.

We ship across Australia and to New Zealand. Shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $10 AUD, with the option to upgrade to Express at checkout.
