Earthy truffle folded into a savoury garlic-and-butter umami base, sprinkled over the top at the end — it turns chips, steak or scrambled eggs into a restaurant plate for the price of a shake.

The flavour

Deep, earthy truffle over browned-butter garlic, mushroom and onion umami, with a toasty soy backbone. Luxe and aromatic rather than heavy, and completely savoury — a little smells and tastes like a lot.

How to cook with it

• Toss hot, crispy chips or fries in it the second they come out of the oil.
• Shower over a rested steak or a fat mushroom for an instant truffle finish.
• Fold a pinch through scrambled eggs or a mushroom risotto right at the end.
• Dust over popcorn for a wildly good movie-night snack.
