Taippan BBQ's Mexicana is an all-natural taco seasoning for fast, flavour-packed Mexican at home. Made in Australia.
The flavour: savoury cumin and oregano, sweet tomato, garlic and onion, with a friendly chilli warmth. Classic Tex-Mex done right.
Perfect on: beef and chicken mince for tacos, burritos, enchiladas and tostadas — about 2 tbsp per 500g of mince.

Ingredients: Chilli, onion, garlic, basil, cumin seed, oregano, sea salt, tomato, pepper, parsley, lemon, thyme, coriander seed.

🏴☠️ Darryl's Secret: Cheesy Beef Quesadillas
Melted cheese, crispy shell, no witnesses.
You'll need: 500g beef mince; 2 tbsp Mexicana; ½ cup water; 1½ cups grated cheese; 4 large flour tortillas.
Do this:
- Brown the mince in a hot pan for 6–8 minutes, breaking it up, until cooked through to 71°C.
- Stir in the Mexicana and water and simmer 3–4 minutes until saucy.
- Spread mince and cheese over half of each tortilla, fold, and toast in a dry pan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and gooey.
- Cut into wedges and serve hot.
Why it works: The splash of water turns the seasoning into a saucy filling that won't dry out in the pan.

We ship across Australia and to New Zealand. Shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $10 AUD, with the option to upgrade to Express at checkout.
