Taippan BBQ's New Orleans Jambalaya is an all-natural, gluten-free Creole seasoning. Made in Australia.
The flavour: smoky paprika, sweet tomato and capsicum, herby thyme and oregano, with a cayenne kick. Big Creole flavour for one-pot cooking.
Perfect on: jambalaya with chicken, prawns and Andouille — also a cracking rub for white meats and seafood.

Ingredients: Paprika, tomato, sea salt, onion, capsicum, pepper, garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, cayenne, celery, parsley, mustard, bay leaf.

🏴☠️ Darryl's Secret: Chicken, Prawn & Sausage Jambalaya
The bayou called. It wants its pot back.
You'll need: 500g chicken thighs, diced; 2 smoked sausages, sliced; 300g long-grain rice; 3 tbsp New Orleans Jambalaya; 750ml chicken stock and 300g green prawns.
Do this:
- Brown the chicken and sausage in a large heavy pot for 6–8 minutes.
- Stir in the seasoning and rice for 1 minute, then pour in the stock and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook on low for 18 minutes without lifting the lid.
- Tuck the prawns into the rice, cover again and cook 4–5 minutes until pink, then fluff and serve.
Why it works: Toasting the seasoning with the rice blooms the paprika and herbs before the stock goes in.

We ship across Australia and to New Zealand. Shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $10 AUD, with the option to upgrade to Express at checkout. Orders to New Zealand are calculated by weight and shown at checkout. Orders are processed within 24 hours and typically shipped the next business day.
