The Holy Gospel splits the difference between Meat Church's two biggest names — the peppery, brisket-built Holy Cow and the balanced, do-anything Gospel. The result carries beef-grade backbone but stays friendly enough for a Tuesday-night steak or a rack of ribs, without ever asking you to choose between the two.
Coarse black pepper and savoury salt from the Holy Cow side lead the way, softened by The Gospel's rounder paprika-and-garlic sweetness underneath. The finish is warm rather than sweet — bold on beef, but never so aggressive it can't handle chicken or pork.
A warm, medium-coarse rub with visible cracked pepper running through a terracotta base. It builds a deep, savoury bark that leans beef but never looks one-note.
Ingredients: Sugar, salt, spices including paprika, dextrose, dehydrated garlic, celery, silicon dioxide, spice extractives.
Dietary: Gluten free. No added MSG. Always check the physical label for the most accurate ingredient, allergen and nutritional information.
Two of the brand's best ideas in one jar, and neither one gets watered down. Mop a brisket late with Hardcore Carnivore Burnt Ends Sauce, or keep Tracklements Smooth Dijon Mustard close for steak night. Give it a proper rest under foil before you carve — that pepper crust holds better than you'd think.
Holy Cow is a straight, peppery Texas beef rub. The Holy Gospel blends that same beef backbone with The Gospel's balanced, all-purpose profile — bolder than an all-purpose rub, friendlier than a pure beef blend.
Brisket, tri-tip, steaks and burgers first, but it's equally happy on pork chops or a whole chicken when you want more depth than a straight all-purpose rub.
A gentle 2/10 — savoury warmth rather than chilli heat, so it works for eaters who don't want spice getting in the way of the meat.
Yes — it's labelled gluten free and no added MSG. Always check the physical label for the most accurate ingredient and allergen information.
