A Carolina-style tang with a whack of Aussie ale
Oh, Ale YES! is inspired by the vinegar-and-mustard sauces of North and South Carolina — the tangy pours the locals splash over pulled pork and "pig pickins". No Reaper chilli here; this one's a mild sauce built for balance. It's the pour that cuts through fat and wakes up whatever it lands on.
The flavour
The base is cider vinegar and mustard — sharp, zingy and unmistakably Carolina. Around it sits a touch of tomato, a pinch of spices and just a few chilli flakes, then a fair whack of locally crafted ale that rounds the tang out with a rich, malty undercurrent. Tangy first, malty through the middle, gently savoury on the finish. Barely any heat — the flakes are there for interest, not fire.
How to use it
- Pour over pulled pork and "pig pickins"
- Cut through a fatty brisket as a lighter alternative to a sweet sauce
- Toss crisped-up chicken wings in it (try it with the Bird Brain rub)
- Mop pork ribs and butt through the cook
- Use as a tangy finishing sauce at the table

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MINDWe offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
