COAST N SMOKE

 Meet Troy and Claire, the creators and founders of Coast n Smoke.

Our life revolves around cooking and family while our true passion lies in finding new flavours. We are a down to earth pair who hold family values close. We are avid fans of camping and travelling, we love exploring the well known places and finding the obscure.

We were both born and raised by the ocean and always feel drawn back to the coast. It’s no surprise then, that we chose to settle in Torquay and spend our days on the Surf Coast of Victoria.

Anyone close to us knows that we love food, and we love to share our love of food with others. After a visit to a smokehouse during a holiday in the USA, we became intrigued by the world of American BBQ. The flavours, the process, the passion that people had for this way of cooking, it was captivating because it was a whole way of life and culture we had never experienced, and we loved it! When we arrived home we started to experiment with this type of cooking for our friends and family. We trialled various techniques and flavours and soon started to create our own BBQ rubs and spice blends that we have decided to share with you all.

It’s no secret that good food brings people together and we hope that we can play a part in your next family gathering, camping trip, neighbourhood BBQ or picnic (the options are endless!).
