Sweet and spicy, with a heap of jalapeño and a splash of tequila. It's made for hot dogs, burgers, nachos and tacos. Load a frankfurter with this relish and a squeeze of Heavenly Hell Dracula's Dreams Chipotle Ketchup. For tacos, season mince with Fancy Hanks Taco Rub and spoon it straight on. Stir it through mayo for the best sandwich spread in the fridge.

Hot dogs that skipped the queue.

You'll need: 6 frankfurters; 6 hot dog buns; 6 tbsp Jalapeno & Tequila Relish; 2 tbsp mayonnaise; ½ cup grated cheese.

Do this:

1. Grill the frankfurters over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, turning, until hot through and lightly charred.
2. Mix 1 tbsp of the relish into the mayo.
3. Toast the buns, spread with the jalapeno mayo, add the frankfurters, then top with cheese and the rest of the relish.

Why it works: Mixing some relish through the mayo carries the flavour into every bite.
