A grill rub and a curry in one jar
Inspired by tandoori and the great curry flavours, Tik Tik Boom pulls a proper trick: rub it on any meat for the grill, OR use it as the base for the quickest, easiest, most flavoursome curry you'll make all week. There's even a curry recipe on the jar. One shaker, two dinners — that's smuggler value.
The flavour
A full tandoori-style spice deck — cumin, coriander, turmeric, cardamom, ginger and garlic — over a sweet-savoury salt-and-sugar base, with cayenne bringing a gentle building warmth rather than a slap. Earthy, fragrant and golden, with a lingering curry-house perfume on the finish.
How to cook with it
- Rub over chicken, lamb or paneer, then grill hot for a tandoori char
- Use as a curry base — brown onions, add the rub, then your protein and a splash of stock (see the jar recipe)
- Toss through cauliflower or spuds with oil and roast
- Stir a spoonful into yoghurt for a quick spiced marinade or dip
In the jar
A vivid golden-ochre blend, coloured by turmeric and paprika, with visible seed and spice. Medium grind, free-flowing, and it fills the kitchen with curry-house aroma the moment the lid's off.

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MINDWe offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
DUE TO DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEM
In the unlikely event you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. We will cover all return shipping costs.
Please report any issue within 5 days of receiving your item. We kindly ask that you provide clear evidence of the fault or damage, so we can expedite your request efficiently.
