This is the BBQ sauce I keep where me hand falls first — easy, smoky and friendly to every plate. Mop it over a rack of ribs rubbed with Smokin Hoggz Applewood Rub, then finish the pork with a little Meat Church Honey Hog for a sweeter bark. Squeeze it on a double cheeseburger, and stand a spoon of Tracklements Chunky Tomato Chutney alongside for the tangy crowd. Keep it between us.

🏴‍☠️ Darryl's Secret: Sticky Chipotle Drumsticks

Smoky, sweet and gone before the second beer.

You'll need: 1.5kg chicken drumsticks; 1 tbsp olive oil; 2 tsp salt and cracked pepper; ½ cup Chipotle BBQ.

Do this:

1. Toss the drumsticks in oil, salt and pepper.
2. Cook indirect on the barbie or smoker at 150°C for about 50 minutes.
3. Brush with Chipotle BBQ, cook 10 minutes, brush again and cook until the thickest drumstick reads 75°C (they're juicier closer to 80°C).
4. Rest 5 minutes and serve with an extra drizzle.

Why it works: Saucing late lets the maple and molasses go sticky without burning.
