Stampede is Butchers Axe's dedicated steak seasoning — a robust, beefy blend built to do one glorious job: make a good steak taste unforgettable. Loaded with savoury umami and a smoky depth, it crusts up hard in a hot pan and turns a midweek scotch fillet into something worth firing up the grill for. Season, sear, stampede to the table.
The flavour
Big and beefy up front — a savoury, umami-charged hit from the flavour enhancers and hydrolysed veg protein. The middle carries a smoky, peppery warmth, then it finishes with a subtle tang and herby lift that keeps every bite of steak interesting to the last.
How to cook with it
- Season thick-cut steaks generously and sear hard for a savoury, crusted char.
- Coat beef ribs and cook low and slow for deep, beefy bark.
- Mix into burger mince or dust patties before grilling for a punchy hit.
- Rub over a roast before searing and finishing in the oven.
In the shaker
A savoury tan-brown blend with a medium grind and visible spice and herb flecks. It smells smoky and beefy and grabs onto steak fat to build a serious sear crust.

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MINDWe offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.

In the unlikely event you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. We will cover all return shipping costs.
