Four bottles, four jobs, no gaps. This is the complete Chud's lineup as we carry it: the all-purpose workhorse, the salt-pepper-garlic backbone, the sweet finisher and the one with a bit of bite. Buy them together and you've got a rub for every cook you're likely to run this year — and you save eleven percent doing it.

What's in the box

• ChudRub — 283g. The original all-purpose. Peppery, savoury, built for brisket bark and honestly good on everything.
• SPG — 235g. Black pepper, salt, garlic. Three ingredients. Your base coat and your steak rub.
• SweetCheeks — 309g. Real maple powder, finer grind. Ribs, pork belly, and a finishing dust before it hits the board.
• SnakeBite — 280g. Jalapeño and a vinegar snap. Medium heat, made for wings.

How to cook with it

• Run SPG as your base layer on anything beef, then dust ChudRub over the top for colour and complexity without doubling the salt.
• Pork ribs: SPG underneath, SweetCheeks over, low and slow until it lacquers up mahogany.
• Wings: SnakeBite, heavy coat, hot fire. The vinegar does what a wing sauce does, without the sog.
• Brisket: ChudRub, two thin coats the night before, post oak, and hands off.
• Cut SnakeBite 50/50 with SweetCheeks on pork shoulder for a sweet-heat blend that isn't sold in any bottle.

Why the four work together

They're built on the same foundation — Diamond Crystal® kosher salt and 16-mesh black pepper at a matched granule size — which is exactly why they layer instead of fight. Season with one, finish with another, and the textures stack rather than turning into a paste. That's not something you can do with four rubs from four different brands.

Questions, answered

What do I save? Bought separately the four come to $112. Together they're $100 — a saving of $12, or eleven percent.

Is the whole bundle mild? Three of the four have no chilli heat at all. SnakeBite is the only one with a kick, and it sits at a comfortable medium.

Are they all gluten free? ChudRub, SnakeBite and SPG carry a gluten-free claim. SweetCheeks lists no gluten-containing ingredients but Chud's make no formal claim on it — always check the physical label.

Where are they made? All four are blended in Austin, Texas, from the same spices the top Texas barbecue joints use.
