Coeliac in the crew? No dramas. This is Atomic Chicken's Original Southern Fried Coating rebuilt on rice and potato so everyone at the table gets the same golden, craggy crunch. All the takeaway-shop flavour, none of the wheat — just properly crispy fried chicken that nobody has to sit out.
The flavour
Savoury and moreish with real Southern-fried character — garlic and onion up front, that classic chicken-salt umami through the middle, and a gentle paprika-and-cayenne warmth on the finish. A mild kick, not a burn.
How to cook with it
- Buttermilk-soak your chicken, then dredge heavily in the coating for classic fried chook.
- Deep-fry or air-fry wings and drumsticks until deep golden and shattering-crisp.
- Crumb chicken breasts for a gluten-free schnitty the whole family can share.
- Coat cauliflower florets or haloumi for a cracking veg-friendly fry-up.
In the bag
A pale, fine-to-medium gluten-free crumb flecked with paprika and spice. Free-running and easy to dredge, it fries up light, golden and genuinely crunchy.

Ingredients: Rice flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, spices (onion, garlic, paprika, black pepper, chilli powder, cayenne pepper), hydrolysed vegetable protein, chicken salt (salt, sugar, flavour enhancer 621), rice cereal, anti-caking agent (551), rice bran oil, spices, natural flavour, baking powder.
Dietary: Gluten friendly — made without gluten ingredients, though traces are possible due to shared manufacturing. May contain traces of gluten (wheat), dairy (milk), soy and peanuts — always check the physical label.

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MINDWe offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
DUE TO DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEM
In the unlikely event you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. We will cover all return shipping costs.
