Juice from the inside out
Lamb Injection is the Butchers Axe secret weapon for big lamb cuts — a savoury flavour-and-moisture booster you inject deep into shoulders and legs so they stay juicy through a long, low cook. Where a rub flavours the outside, this works from the inside, carrying seasoning right to the bone. It's how the comp crew keep lamb from ever drying out.
The flavour
A deep, savoury, meaty profile designed to amplify lamb rather than mask it. Herby, spiced and gently salted, it dissolves clean into liquid and delivers moisture plus seasoning all the way through the cut.
How to cook with it
- Dissolve ¼ cup of powder into 300ml of your chosen liquid until fully mixed.
- Inject evenly across a 5–7kg lamb shoulder or leg, spacing the sites a few cm apart.
- Rest the injected meat in the fridge at 0–4°C for 4–6 hours to distribute.
- Smoke or roast low and slow, then rub the outside with Hunter for a full lamb hit.
In the bag
A fine, savoury powder that dissolves cleanly into water, stock or juice for a smooth, pump-through-the-needle injection liquid with no clogging.

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MINDWe offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
DUE TO DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEM
In the unlikely event you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. We will cover all return shipping costs.
Please report any issue within 5 days of receiving your item. We kindly ask that you provide clear evidence of the fault or damage, so we can expedite your request efficiently.
