BLACK SEA SALT FLAKES
Falksalt salt flakes are wonderful, large pyramid-shaped flakes with a unique array of flavours and colours that enhance food.
Their black salt adds a robust flavour and visual character to dishes.
Made with 5% activated charcoal, it’s ideal as both a cooking and finishing salt.

🏴☠️ Darryl's Secret: Black Salt Seared Rump
Dinner that dresses for the occasion.
You'll need: 800g rump steak; 1 tbsp oil; 2 tsp Black Sea Salt Flakes.
Do this:
- Crush 1½ tsp of the flakes and season the steak 40 minutes before cooking.
- Oil and sear over high heat for 3–4 minutes a side until it reads 54°C, then rest 5 minutes.
- Slice onto a white plate and finish with the remaining whole flakes.
Why it works: Crushed flakes season the meat; whole flakes on top bring the crunch and the colour.

We ship across Australia and to New Zealand. Shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $10 AUD, with the option to upgrade to Express at checkout. Orders to New Zealand are calculated by weight and shown at checkout. Orders are processed within 24 hours and typically shipped the next business day.
