Grunt is what happens when a pork rub grows up. Sweet cherry meets warm baking spice and a soft chipotle hum, built for ribs, pork butt, belly and roasts. It's the shaker that makes the whole street lean over the fence asking what you're cooking.

The flavour

Sweet cherry and paprika lead up front. Through the middle you get warm cinnamon and star anise with a savoury garlic-and-onion base, and it finishes with a gentle chipotle glow and a whisper of thyme — sweet-led, barely-warm, deeply moreish.

How to cook with it

• Coat pork ribs and smoke low-and-slow, spritzing to build a sticky crust
• Rub a pork butt heavily the night before, then pull it after the long haul
• Score and season pork belly for sweet, spiced crackling
• Dust over a pork roast before the oven for a fragrant, cherry-warm crust

A warm, red-brown blend with visible paprika and spice flecks. Medium grind that melts into a glossy, sticky bark on slow-cooked pork.
