The flavour

Sweet candied jalapeño up front, a savoury paprika-and-garlic middle, then a gentle pickled-pepper warmth on the finish. Sweet first, spicy second — moreish all the way through.

Perfect on

Chicken wings, pork ribs, fish, steak, scrambled eggs, roast veg and loaded fries. It turns a midweek cook into something worth talking about.
