Ram Rod is Rum and Que's game rub — a savoury, herb-driven blend built to stand up to the stronger flavours of lamb, venison and wild meat. Where a sweet rub would clash, this one leans into the gaminess and rounds it out. Serious gear for the hunter's kitchen.
The flavour
Garlic and thyme lead over a savoury, lightly salted base, with warm spice to carry the richer proteins. Herbaceous and grounded rather than sweet — it complements game instead of masking it.
How to cook with it
- Rub a lamb shoulder all over and slow-roast until it pulls apart, herby and savoury.
- Season venison backstrap and sear hard and fast, then rest — it loves the thyme.
- Coat lamb chops or cutlets before a quick, hot grill.
- Work it into a butterflied leg of lamb for the barbecue.
- Use it on a beef-and-lamb koftas mix for the skewers.

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MINDWe offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
DUE TO DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEM
In the unlikely event you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. We will cover all return shipping costs.
