Perfect for any protein, Mexicue blends Chile de Arbol, Ancho powder, cumin and maple sugar to deliver an authentic Tex-Mex flavour.
Name: Mexicue = Mexican + BBQ. It's as simple as that. Over the years, these two cuisines have fused together unique spices, techniques of cooking and generations of recipes. If you ever get to travel around Texas and visit roadside smokehouses, food trucks or, even better, are invited into the la cocina, you will see where we got the inspiration for Mexicue.
Pro-Tip: Mexicue is made with love to deliver the flavours of authentic Tex-Mex cuisine. We use this rub on skirt steak, chicken thighs, prawns, pork chops and eggs. Our go-to meals are burritos, fajitas, breakfast tacos, Magas, Huevos Rancheros and many more. Heck, we even season our guacamole with it. Use liberally and don't be shy to explore its versatility!
Ingredient Fun Fact: Cumin is the standout in this rub! Originating from the Middle East in the Irani-Turanian region, it has been used as a spice, a currency, and even as an element preserving mummies dating back 4000 years in Egypt! Cumin made its way into Central America during the European Colonization by way of the Spanish and Portuguese settlers. This spice has a warm, earthy flavour and aroma with a bit of both sweetness and bitterness backed a distinctive nutty, peppery flavour.

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MINDWe offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
DUE TO DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEM
In the unlikely event you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. We will cover all return shipping costs.
Please report any issue within 5 days of receiving your item. We kindly ask that you provide clear evidence of the fault or damage, so we can expedite your request efficiently.
