SINSQUE doesn't do subtle. It's an Australian-made rub outfit built around big, protein-specific blends with a bit of attitude in the naming — one rub per protein, no guesswork on what goes where.

Black Mamba is the heavy hitter, a charcoal rub that lays a deep, dark bark on beef and brisket; Grunt brings sweet cherry and chipotle to pork ribs and belly; Grass is cut for lamb backstrap and cutlets; and Snow is the all-purpose shaker for chicken, seafood and veg. New cooks start with Snow, then work up to Black Mamba when they want a proper crust.

Pick a protein and SINSQUE bundles Snow with the specialist rub — the Beef, Pork and Lamb Duo packs save 10 percent — and there is an Alabama-style fried chicken coating for anyone running the fryer.
